About Us
We at Furever Friends understand that your pets are part of your family and are
your loved companions. Being pet owners ourselves we know that losing them
can be difficult, upsetting and at times overwhelming. Our objective is to provide a
professional, caring, personal and stress free pet cremation service for the after care
of your beloved pet.
We are a local family owned and operated pet cremation service operating in and
around the top of the south island. We offer individual cremations which eliminates
any contamination or confusion between pets' ashes. Each pet has its own unique
cremation log number that will follow your pet right through the cremation process
from the vets or your home and back to you.
Every pets' ashes will be returned in a black cardboard urn, unless you wish to choose from our beautiful mahogany and totara range that are beautifully hand crafted in New Zealand - these can be viewed in the Urns page.
If your pet passes away at home or you wish you take your pet home after being euthanized at the vets. We offer a same day home collection service (this has a small call out fee) or drop off service (depending on availability), the ashes of your pet can be collected directly from our home within 10 working days (This service is only available in Marlborough. For all other regions, cremation can be arranged through your local veterinary clinic).
We offer communal cremation for those who do not wish to receive their pets ashes back, these are then scattered around the beautiful grounds where our crematorium is located.
We additionally offer an engraving service which we can arrange for you to be done on all our wood urns. There are 2 engraving services - either printed plaque or laser engraving. We also offer photo plaques that can be placed on our urns.
Our totara urns have the option of a printed plaque or laser engraving at no extra cost to you. Both of these options can also be viewed in the Urns page.
We treat all pets with compassion, respect and dignity throughout the cremation process and are brought into our home until they are returned to you either at home or your vet clinic.
If you have any further queries please contact us or speak your local veterinary clinic.
